Requirements

• 2 years' experience as a cook.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.
• Servesafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner.
• Prep meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Cook meals and check ingredients for freshness and dietary restrictions.
• Arrange and garnish the dishes.
• Prepare special diets accurately including pureed foods.
• Make the presentation of the food appealing to the residents.
• Supervise and work under supervision.
