White Oak Estates is looking to hire a Part-time Cook and a part-time Dietary Aide. We do prefer experience in Long Term Care as a Dietary Aide and a willingness to learn. Quick role snapshot: Dietary Cooks prepare and cook foods, cereals, starches, meat and vegetables for meals that are palatable and appetizing, following menus, using standardized recipes and following production chart for correct quantities. Serves food for residents according to menu combinations and orders in an efficient manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with Federal, State and local requirements. Quick role snapshot: Dietary Aides are responsible for serving meals to patient/residents on the assigned neighborhood. Each dietary cart is stocked by the dietary aide with the necessary serving utensils, food quantity for serving, proper food temperature monitoring, and necessary meal extras to serve the designated meal. Inventory such as dinnerware, utensils, cups, condiments, snacks and perishables are stocked on the assigned neighborhood. Daily cleaning assignments to ensure food and safety protocols within the dietary department. This openings are for someone that has the flexibility to work some shifts on 1st and 2nd, & weekends.
