About The Position

The Dietary Clerk is responsible for accurately assembling patient trays, delivering meals, receiving and recording dietary orders using Dietary Management System, assisting patient with menu selection, cleaning and sanitation of soiled dishes, and restocking and servicing cafeteria (to include operation of cash register).

Requirements

  • Must be able to work cooperatively and interact with patients, visitors, and employees.
  • Make mature judgements.
  • Stand stoop, lift moderate weight, and push and pull items.
  • Exhibit high level of customer service skills.
  • Knowledge & understanding of basic nutritional needs.
  • Basic understanding of computers & ability to operate a computer on varying levels.

  • Additional food service courses/ education.
  • Customer Service experience.
