About the position
The Food Service Cashier receives cash and credit cards as payment from customers for foods served in the Bistro, Baggot Street Café, and Lobby Kiosk. The employee in this role will provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to all customers demonstrating effective communication skills. Cashiers will also assist with the smooth operation of restaurant, café, and kiosk to include, but is not limited to serving customers, stocking sale products, and completion of daily cleaning assignments.

Requirements
- High School transcript showing completion of a minimum of 9th grade or successful completion of literacy assessment.
- Prefer 1 year of cash handling experience.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Meditech, Epic, Performance Manager/NetLearning.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be able to work independently and make independent decisions when necessary.
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
- Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and function effectively as a team with other employees.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
