About The Position

Coast Village Assisted Living. We're offering a great work environment and a
flexible schedule!

Gulf Coast Village
is part of Volunteers of America National Services which
serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America
parent organization.

Schedule - Monday thru Sunday, working 40 hours per week

Position Summary:

The Dietary Assistant provides food and tray delivery to the assisted living
and/or skilled care center residents.
Sets up and cleans dining room,
maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assures timely meal
delivery and plate preparation.

Requirements

• Maintain ServSafe Certification
• Able to meet the requirements identified in the Essential Functions.
• Ability to pass drug, criminal and employment screenings.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible schedule to include nights, holidays and weekend.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides dining service to Residents, guests and family members as needed. Busses soiled dishes for care center and AL dining areas
• Prepares trays and serves food according to menus and following therapeutic diet orders.
• Follows all policies and procedures relating to food service to meet or exceed community standards.
• Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Follows daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Keeps work areas clean and maintains sanitary conditions. Maintains all side stations and dining areas using the “clean as you go” policy.
• Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Restocks supplies as needed.
