About The Position

As a Dietary Assistant, you will act as an ambassador and support the mission of our hospital by optimizing the quality of life of our patients. Your duties will also include (but not limited to): delivering meals to patient rooms, answering room service phone and processing patient and guest meal orders, collecting and returning all used meal trays to the cleaning and sanitation area, ensuring proper sanitation of all dishes, flatware, trays, pots and pans, utensils, and communicating with patients about room service and assisting with ordering if necessary.

Requirements

• Safe Serve Certification preferred
• Previous food service experience preferred
• Reliable
• Team-oriented
• Excited to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and can provide exceptional customer service
• Able to read and speak English

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to patient rooms
• Answer room service phone and process patient and guest meal orders
