FTE: .001, Shift: Day, Schedule: Per Diem Position Summary The Dietary Ambassador is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current Washington State Food Handlers Card
- Minimum one (1) year previous relevant experience
Responsibilities
- You will provide outstanding customer service through answering phone calls, internal communications, and patient meal delivery
- You will assemble, coordinate, and deliver patient meals
- You will assist patients with appropriate meal selections, considering the patient's diet order, food allergies, and food preferences
- You will educate patients on dietary restrictions and refer patients who require additional information to the clinical dietitian for follow-up
- You will perform a variety of routine duties and roles ranging from cold food production, café service, catering set-up, dishwashing, and cashiering
