About The Position

The Dietary Aide position at National Health - White Oak LLC is responsible for providing accurate and timely food service to residents while adhering to health and safety regulations. This role involves various tasks related to food preparation, serving, and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment under the supervision of the Dietary Manager or Director.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and sanitary regulations.
• Good personal hygiene and ability to maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up tray line for meals, ensuring all items are ready on time.
• Handle and serve food in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Prepare juice and special items for meals as specified by the production chart.
• Assist in cleaning dishes, glassware, and silverware using the dish machine.
• Check wash and rinse temperatures to ensure they are at proper levels.
• Put clean and air-dried ware in proper places.
• Prepare and deliver nourishments to the floors.
• Perform cleaning responsibilities as assigned.
• Observe standard procedures for safe and sanitary food handling.
• Adhere to personnel policies and procedures of the facility and Dietary Department.
• Practice good personal hygiene and wear required uniform and hairnet.
• Attend scheduled in-service programs.
• Complete other related duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Director.
