About The Position

The Dietary Aide at Primrose Retirement Communities is responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. This role involves taking food and drink orders, assisting residents, delivering meals, and ensuring timely removal of dinnerware. The position may also include general cleaning, dishwashing, and food preparation tasks.

Requirements

• Sanitation Certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents' needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Solid work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good team player.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a senior living or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders from residents and guests.
• Seat and assist residents as needed.
• Deliver meals to residents in a timely manner.
• Remove dinnerware from tables promptly after meals.
• Assist with general cleaning and dishwashing duties.
• Help with food preparation as required.
