About The Position
San Luis Post Acute Center is a lovely Skilled Nursing Facility located in San Luis Obispo, California. We are looking for a Full time Dietary Aide. This position will assist cook in the prep and serving of meals, assist with meal service and the delivery of plates to the resident tables, and handle inventory stocking and storage organization. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods and stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, the Dietary Aide must be able to follow oral and written communications, perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep the kitchen area and equipment sanitized and sterile, handle dishwashing, and empty waste containers. Attendance at staff and in-service meetings is required, and the individual will perform other duties as necessary or assigned. Experience with institutional food preparation is desired, and the candidate should be willing to be cross-trained and function in other work areas of nutrition services. The duties are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the person assigned to this position, and employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by their supervisor.
