About The Position

The Dietary Aide at Genesis Healthcare plays a crucial role in providing food service assistance within the nursing center, ensuring that the dining needs of patients and residents are met in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company standards. This full-time position involves various tasks related to food preparation and service, contributing to the overall quality of care provided to residents.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of patients/residents and visitors.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle food and equipment according to all policies and procedures.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
• Deliver and retrieve food carts.
• Set up meal trays and work meal tray line position.
• Prepare snacks and beverages in between meals.
