About The Position

Requirements

• Experience in food service, preferably in healthcare or long-term care settings (preferred).
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow dietary instructions and accommodate special diets.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary requirements and resident preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment, following health and safety standards.
• Assist residents during mealtimes with a compassionate and respectful attitude.
• Help monitor and restock food supplies as needed.
• Work with dietary staff to ensure quality service and resident satisfaction.
