About The Position
Dietary Aide-Food & Nutrition-Part Time-Day-Mount Sinai Queens Prepare and serve patient food trays. Handles food production and preparing for special functions. Handles dishwashing and sanitation
Requirements
- Education: High School or GED
- Experience: Food handling experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Portions out and plates food truck and serves
- Heats patient food, transport food truck and serves meals to patients
- Prepares sandwiches for cafeteria and special functions
- Registers customer orders & transacts with money, Accountable for over/under of register
- Wipes down tables, chairs, tray line, counters, shelves
- Prepares salad for the salad bar, wraps cakes and pastries
- Sets up the counter for breakfast and lunch. Serves breakfast and lunch
- Serve and replenish hot and cold food in cafeteria
- Assist in the preparation of special functions
- Sets up and washes all pots, pans, empties garbage cans
- Keeps the floor and sinks clean, empties garbage cans
- Rotates, label, dates and puts deliveries away
