About The Position

PART-TIME WEEKENDS Dietary Aide Join Our Kitchen Crew! Are you someone who enjoys staying busy, working as part of a team, and helping create a great dining experience? As a Dietary Aide, you’ll play an important role in making sure meals are prepared, served, and cleaned up with care. Every shift helps keep our kitchen running smoothly and our residents smiling. You’ll report to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor and work as part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read recipes and follow food safety procedures
• Comfortable working with basic math (fractions, percentages, ratios)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s Certificate

Responsibilities

• Learn our food service routine and jump right in
• Set up and deliver meal trays with accuracy and care
• Assist with serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Prepare snacks and nourishments
• Wash and sanitize dishes using commercial dishwashing equipment
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature at the start of each shift
• Monitor dishwasher temperatures during cycles
• Keep the kitchen sparkling clean — sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces, and maintain refrigerators
• Take out trash and keep storage areas neat and organized
• Properly store groceries in a safe, clean, and orderly manner
• Support the cook and dietary supervisor as needed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing team training
• Work cooperatively with all departments to create a positive environment
