As a Dietary Aide, you play a key role in supporting the Dietitian and assisting participants with a smooth and efficient delivery of breakfast and luncheon meals to ensure they receive delicious, nutritious meals. From breakfast smiles to lunchtime conversations, you'll help create meaningful dining experiences while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience as a dietary aide, server or working in the food service industry
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of experience working with frail and elderly individuals.
• Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid and current driver's license.
• Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Serve breakfast, luncheon meals and snacks to participants.
• Understand and assist with portion-controlled, therapeutic, and mechanically altered diets.
• Label, date, and store all food, beverages, and supplements.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Package home-delivered meals and nutritional supplements for transportation.
• Inventory kitchen, emergency food stores, clinic refrigerator, and nutritional supplement stock.
