About The Position

Huntsville Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean and safe environment. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of dietary services in a healthcare setting and takes pride in supporting resident care through food service excellence.

Requirements

• Prior dietary or food service experience required (healthcare setting strongly preferred)
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and tray service according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver meals to residents while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Support special diets and modified textures as directed
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishware, and dining areas
• Assist with dishwashing, stocking, and kitchen organization
• Work collaboratively with the dietary team and leadership
