About The Position

We are a reliable healthcare organization, known for quality care, committed staff, and an uplifting community atmosphere. We’re looking for Dietary Aides for our La Crosse location, BSJ Care Center. A valid, non probationary driver's license is required for this position. All driving would occur in a company vehicle. Additional $0.50 per hour for driving shifts. This position works every other weekend and rotating holidays. Shift Availability: Part Time Day Shift - 40 hours/ pay period Full Time - Mid-Day Shift Full Time Cook - AM Shift Part Time Cook - PM Shift
Requirements
- A valid, non probationary driver's license is required for this position.
- All driving would occur in a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing beverages, cleaning and washing dishes, assisting with the serving of meals, and providing customer service to our residents, while following food safety requirements.
- Responsible for keeping foods safe, using time and temperature control for safety guidelines.
- Follows resident’s diet orders and preferences when serving meals.
- Cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work area routinely, ensuring the highest degree of sanitation.
- Washes and sanitizes dishes, tableware, glasses, and other kitchen and dining room equipment/surfaces and ensures they are stored in a sanitary and orderly fashion.
- May serve meals in the dining room or to resident rooms or at Assisted Living Facility.
