About The Position

Warde Senior Living in Windham, NH is hiring a full-time Dietary Aide to join our Culinary Services team. This role includes an every-other-weekend commitment.

Join our excellent team of professionals to help meet the medical, social and spiritual needs of the people we serve. Warde Senior Living in Windham, NH, is currently a 39-bed Assisted Living community and a 32-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We also have 21 brand new independent living apartments that provide an affordable living option to our community. We are excited for this newest addition of services which will enhance our campus and overall continuum of services. We are proud to be part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

• Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing and on a timely basis in accordance with current menu, following time and temperature standards
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room
• Serve food in accordance to current diet, texture and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures
• Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution
• Deliver food carts, trays and other items to designated area
• Remove soiled carts and dishes from dining area upon completion of meal service
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure that they are ready for use for next meal
