About The Position

The wait staff serves the residents dining room services, room service, and Peachtree events

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • The waiter/waitress must have the ability to follow directions from the Culinary Service Staff and residents, as well as the ability to read written instructions for equipment or plans for a particular shift. The employee must also be able to prioritize duties effectively to complete a regular shift’s work or residents order in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Teamwork with the following and all other duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Set tables with the proper china and flatware prior to the entry of residents.
  • Participate in minimal food preparation. (Salad, Dessert, Soup, and Beverages)
  • Basic cleaning of the dining room.
  • Setup and prepare buffet line for residents.
  • Serve residents promptly and appropriately.
  • Clear dishes following meals in preparation for the Dishwasher.
  • Collect and appropriately launder tablecloths and napkins
  • Following meals, appropriately date and place foods in the correct storage space.
  • Break stock down upon arrival and place it in the proper area
