About The Position

As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation in assisted living facilities. Your role will involve ensuring food safety standards are met while contributing to the overall well-being of residents through nutritious and delicious meals.

Requirements

• Submit a resume showing prior experience in a similar role within a healthcare or assisted living setting
• Familiarity with dietary department operations and meal planning
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screening
• Must be flexible with schedule as it may change depending on needs for the week.
• Rotating 4 days per week.
• Must be available on the weekends!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and portion sizes
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitate work areas
• Assist in organizing and stocking inventory in the kitchen
• Collaborate with dietary aides and other staff members to ensure efficient operations
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
• Exhibit excellent time management skills to meet meal schedules
