About The Position
Looking for variety in your work environment? Join Trinity Support Team, a division of Lutheran Services Carolinas. We hire Travel Cooks and Dietary Aides. Work for a non-profit organization in long-term care. Work in a kitchen setting, cooking, assisting cooks, and providing meal services to long-term care communities to enrich residents' quality of life and living environment! We have various North Carolina locations in Salisbury, Albemarle, Hickory (2 locations), Clemmons, Winston-Salem, Lumberton, Wilmington, and Asheville. Premium pay of $20 per hour to travel. This is a Non-Benefit Position—all shifts are available, and flexible scheduling. Mileage is paid from your home to the facility and back home. We have Full-Time and Part-Time and Weekend positions available.
Requirements
- Driver's License
- Reliable transportation is required
- Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen are required
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions for reading recipes, dietary needs and meal orders
- Must be physically able to serve meals and assist the residents in eating
- Must be compassionate and patient when working with elderly residents, as well as the residents' family members.
