About The Position
Dietary Aide Evening Shift Pawtucket Falls Healthcare Center is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. The Dietary Aide plays a key role in supporting the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Compassionate and respectful toward elderly residents
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal tray preparation and delivery in accordance with resident dietary needs
- Serve meals and beverages to residents in dining rooms and resident units
- Set up, clean, and sanitize dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen staff with basic food prep as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate meal service
- Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff
