The Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving daily meals and snacks for residents, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, and managing food orders within a set budget. Key duties include preparing monthly menus, assisting the House Manager with food orders, and ensuring all kitchen areas are organized and clean. The role requires maintaining knowledge of residents' special dietary needs and preferences, instructing caregivers on proper sanitary regulations and serving procedures, and communicating meal instructions for evening and weekend shifts. The aide will also interact with residents to observe food and liquid intake, prepare and track guest meals, assist with food preparation for special events, and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
