About The Position

Seven Hills Pediatric Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dedicated food services team. This essential role supports the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of meals for residents, ensuring nutritional standards are met in a clean, safe, and caring environment. Whether helping prepare meals or maintaining a tidy kitchen, your work helps enhance the lives of children and young adults with complex medical needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED/HiSET) required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and in close proximity with others.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds (up to 200 pounds with assistance).
• Willingness to follow strict hygiene and food safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal tray assembly according to diet orders.
• Deliver and retrieve food carts to and from residential units.
• Wash dishes, cookware, and equipment; record dishwasher temperatures.
• Clean kitchen, dining, and storage areas according to sanitation protocols.
• Restock supplies and check incoming food deliveries.
• Prepare and distribute snacks and nourishments as ordered.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in food prep and service areas.
• Dispose of garbage and waste promptly and safely.
• Follow all safety and food handling procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager.
