About The Position

Our Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays
to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus. Our
team members provide extraordinary care and hold each other accountable. If this

Requirements

• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Can understand measurements and conversions.
• Are a team player!
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
• Serves meals in the health center.
• Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Transports all required nonfood items to and from the health center.
• Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
