About The Position

The Staff Pad has partnered with Unity Medical Center to hire a Dietary Aide. This role supports the Dietary Services team by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring patients and staff receive high-quality food service in a safe and sanitary environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
At least 1 year of food service experience preferred
Basic math skills and ability to follow recipes
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Assist with preparation of hot and cold food items as directed
Follow menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
Deliver and retrieve food carts and patient trays
Serve meals in the cafeteria as needed
Stock and organize kitchen and food service supplies
Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
Clean and maintain kitchen areas, including dish room, equipment, and storage spaces
Dispose of waste and maintain overall cleanliness of dietary areas
Work under limited supervision while following written and verbal instructions
Promote a positive and professional environment with patients, staff, and visitors
Comply with all organizational policies and safety regulations
