About The Position
Prepare and serve meals that are nutritious, appetizing, and appealing to residents or patients. Set up dining areas and maintain cleanliness to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Assist in food preparation, storing, and labeling according to facility guidelines. Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a hospital, nursing home, or food service industry.
- Knowledge of food production techniques and proper food handling procedures.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with patients, and staff effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness.
