About The Position

atholic Health’s St Catherine of Siena Nursing & Rehabilitation have served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years. St. Catherine is located in the heart of Long Island, Smithtown. The Long Term care facility is a 240 bed facility. Our nurses, physicians and support staff are devoted to providing advanced health care in an environment of compassion to our employees, patients, residents, their families and our community. Requirements

High school graduate or GED equivalency required.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift, bend, and turn.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push heavy food carts.

Nice To Haves

Food service experience preferred.
Must be able to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
Nursing Home/ Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, and ensuring dietary needs are met for residents or patients in healthcare settings.
The responsibilities include preparing food, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide quality nutritional care.
