The Village of Ackley is seeking a caring, reliable, and positive individual to join their team as a Dietary Aide. In this role, the individual will assist with the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals, ensuring a safe and welcoming dining experience for residents. Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and professionalism
  • Regular attendance and punctuality required
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the dining area for meals at designated times
  • Assist in meal service and ensure proper portions and presentation
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen tools, and food service areas
  • Interact positively with residents and staff during meal prep and service
  • Respond to resident requests in a kind and respectful manner
