Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to follow instructions, make independent decisions, and accept feedback
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff, and the public
  • Physical stamina to perform assigned duties

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reset dining rooms for all meal services, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup
  • Assist with timely meal service while providing courteous, compassionate support to residents and staff
  • Support food preparation alongside the cook, including special meals and events
  • Verify diet trays prior to distribution to ensure accuracy and compliance with dietary needs
  • Clear, sanitize, and reset dining areas promptly after meal services
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information while delivering respectful, resident-centered care
