Job Description Job Title: Dietary Aide Department: Dietary Essential Employee Position: Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather. Shifts Available: 10:00am- 7:00pm (This position will work weekends) Pay Rate: $12.00 Hourly Benefits: Paid time off Holiday Pay Medical, Dental, Vision, & 401 (K) Matching Yearly Bonuses Employee Assistance Fund Continuing Education & Scholarship Programs Certified Nurse Aide Training Program Mentorship Referral Bonus Retirement Bonus Advancement Opportunities Summary: Responsible for the preparation and serving of Breakfast and Lunch for residents according to the planned menu cycle.

Responsibilities

Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
Set-up the Dish Machine for the day and record wash and rinse temperatures on the Dish Machine Temperature Chart.
Set-up all beverages for breakfast and lunch to the posted menu.
Set-up nourishment juices and snack foods for the correct number of patients by using the Daily Census Sheet.
Prepare food; salads, desserts and beverages for next meal and or day according to the menu. Follows the Daily Production Sheet.
Clean the dining room after breakfast and lunch. Wash tables, chairs, condiment bar, and restocks condiments.
Wash dishes after breakfast and lunch.
Sweep and mop floors after each meal.
Frequent lifting & moving. Must have the ability to lift, move, push, pull & transfer 50lbs with the physical capability to perform all job-related duties.
Prepare food for special functions as posted.
Assist with final clean-up of dietary department before leaving for the day. Check posted cleaning schedule and follow listed tasks.
Interact with patients and offer assistance with selecting meals for a balanced, nutritional, meal.
Participate in dietary meetings.
Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and Risk Management.
Follow all retirement center and departmental policies and procedures.
Practice confidentiality as authorized in the organizational policy.
Comply with the Employee Code of Ethics.
