About The Position

This position supports the operation of the kitchen by maintaining properly sanitized and a sufficient stock of dishes and assist the cook with meal prep to ensure the orderly flow of the kitchen systems. Requirements

• San Antonio, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be fully COVID19 vaccinated

Nice To Haves

• At least one year prior experience in food service in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow oral and written directions.
• Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely.
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods.
• Serve and bus trays.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
