About The Position

Inver Grove Heights I White Pine Senior Living JOB TITLE: Dietary Aide- Full time Shift: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday-other week Tuesday, wednesday and Thursday Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00 DOQ REPORTS TO: Housing Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly menu
• Assist House Manager with food orders
• Organize, clean, and maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen
• Prepare three daily meals as well as snacks for residents
• Maintain knowledge of residents’ special dietary needs or likes/dislikes.
• Instructs care givers on proper sanitary regulations
• Instructs care givers on setting tables, serving residents, clearing dishes, loading, and running dishwasher
• Stays within set budget on all food orders and purchases
• Meet with residents periodically to assess food preferences
• Prepare and track guest meals
• Communicate detailed instructions to staff for evening and weekend meals and baking
• Interact with residents and observe food and liquid intake
• Work with House Manager on food preparation/service for special events
• Maintain confidentiality of residents personal and medical information.
