About The Position
Lincoln Surgical Hospital – Where Extraordinary Care Begins Lincoln Surgical Hospital is an innovative healthcare leader dedicated to providing exceptional surgical outcomes in a patient-focused environment. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team and provide world-class service to our patients. The Schedule Status: Full-Time (60 hours per pay period / every 2 weeks). Shift: Alternating schedule: Mon–Thu (2:30 pm – 8:30 pm) or Tue–Fri. Weekends: Flexible, self-scheduled requirement of just 2 days per month. How You’ll Make an Impact As a Dietary Aide, you are a vital part of the patient recovery experience.
Requirements
- Prep/Cook Food Handler’s permit (required at hire).
- CPR (BLS) certification (required within 60 days of hire).
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- One year of food service experience is preferred, but a great attitude is essential.
Responsibilities
- Engaging directly with patients to gather daily menu selections and ensure their preferences are met.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals, maintaining clean preparation areas, and stocking supplies according to hospital procedures.
- Ensuring all food handling and sanitation practices meet or exceed county and state health requirements
