Requirements
- Prior dietary aide or kitchen experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization
- Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service
- Reliable, positive, and ready to support resident care
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dish room
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Monitor dishwashing temperatures and chlorine levels
- Assist with breakfast tray setup and juice preparation for medication passes
- Support meal service and tray line setup
- Prepare snacks, butter bread, and pour beverages
- Sweep, mop, and remove trash from kitchen areas
- Properly store groceries and maintain clean food storage areas
- Report any resident care or safety concerns to leadership
