Requirements

  • Prior dietary aide or kitchen experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization
  • Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service
  • Reliable, positive, and ready to support resident care

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dish room
  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
  • Monitor dishwashing temperatures and chlorine levels
  • Assist with breakfast tray setup and juice preparation for medication passes
  • Support meal service and tray line setup
  • Prepare snacks, butter bread, and pour beverages
  • Sweep, mop, and remove trash from kitchen areas
  • Properly store groceries and maintain clean food storage areas
  • Report any resident care or safety concerns to leadership
