About The Position

The Dietary Aide at Methodist Hospital is responsible for performing a variety of patient food service, cafeteria food service, and dish room duties, in addition to catered tasks and other related responsibilities. This role is integral to providing exceptional customer service and positively impacting the care and experience of patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively via the written and spoken word
  • Ability to perform simple cash transactions
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients

Nice To Haves

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Food service experience
  • Servsafe certification (will be offered after the employee is hired)
