About The Position

ABOUT THE ROLE: Part Time positions available. Day and evening shifts, including weekends. Starting at $15.00 per hour. Our Dietary Aide is responsible for preparing and serving therapeutic diet trays to health center residents in accordance with posted therapeutic diet menus. Requirements

• Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred
• Have the ability to understand measurements and conversions
• Are a team player!
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required.
• Serves meals in the health center.
• Sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal.
• Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center.
• Transports all required non food items to and from the health center.
• Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
