About The Position

Lorien Columbia is seeking Dietary Aides to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring residents are happy, healthy, and well-nourished, requiring individuals who are proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Lorien Columbia, the flagship facility of Lorien Health Services, has been serving the Howard County, MD community since 1977. It provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, and is home to the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County. With 215 beds across five nursing units and plans for expansion, Lorien Columbia is committed to delivering exceptional care and has been recognized as one of the Top Nursing Homes in Maryland by Newsweek Magazine since 2020.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 17 years of age or older to apply
• Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, setup, service, and cleanup
• Serve residents with a friendly, respectful, and positive attitude
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dining areas and kitchen spaces
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to support timely meal service
• Collaborate with dietary and care teams to meet residents’ needs
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
• Help create a warm, welcoming dining experience our residents look forward to
