About The Position

The Dietary Aide position at Priority Life Care involves assisting cooks in meal preparation and service, fostering connections with residents, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; no dietary experience required.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take meal orders in the dining room and serve meals to residents in a friendly and timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of food.
• Set up the dining room as a clean, inviting space.
• Assist in cleaning resident eating areas, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Report any issues or problems that may arise to the Dietary Manager.
• Attend in-services and other required meetings.
• Promote and exemplify the Priority Life Care mission and values at all times.
