About The Position

Arma Health and Rehab in Arma, KS is looking to hire a part-time Dietary Aide to join our team. Requirements

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand measurements.
• Willingness to learn; no experience required.
• Solid communication skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents.
• Set up trays and serve regular meals.
• Prepare snack items and food requests for special events.
• Deliver food in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident meals according to specified diet orders.
• Ensure the quality and temperature of food items.
• Deliver and retrieve trays by the end of meal dining time.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
• Enhance safety and sanitary conditions by cleaning tables, chairs, and food service equipment.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
