About The Position

Trinity Grove is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team! In this role, you will make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by assisting with meal preparation and service in a supportive environment. The position is full-time, requiring 30+ hours per week, with a schedule from 12:30pm to 8:30pm, including every other weekend. Free meals are provided on every shift, and there is potential for pay up to $20.50 with opt-out benefits and shift differentials.

Requirements

• Some high school coursework, diploma, or GED preferred
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required - we provide on-the-job training!
• Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 75 lbs), and perform cleaning duties
• Patience, compassion, and a desire to serve the elderly community
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and with cleaning chemicals
• Must be free from infectious diseases

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook with meal preparation and service
• Prepare beverages, cereals, breads, salads, and desserts according to menu plans and dietary needs
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all dietary areas, including dishwashing and storage
• Set up carts, dining areas, and staff dining room for meal service
• Follow oral and written instructions, including recipes and meal orders
• Handle and store food safely, label and date leftovers, and replenish supplies
• Attend training classes and implement new skills as needed
• Interact positively with residents, family members, and staff
• Follow all health, safety, and facility policies and procedures
