About The Position

Visalia Post Acute is currently seeking a dependable and flexible On-Call Dietary Aide to support our dietary team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean kitchen, and ensuring residents receive high-quality nutritional care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and sanitation guidelines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler’s Certificate
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver meal trays
• Clean and sanitize returned trays, dishes, and kitchen equipment
• Assist with meal service and snack preparation
• Check and record dishwashing machine sanitation levels
• Sweep, mop, and maintain a clean kitchen environment
• Put away groceries in a safe and organized manner
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in all food service areas
• Support cook and dietary supervisor as needed
• Participate in staff orientation and training sessions
• Collaborate positively with all departments to support resident care
