As a Dietary Aide, you will help us support patients' health by ensuring proper food handling and transportation. In this role, you can gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, all while making a difference in the lives of patients every day. A caregiver in this position works rotating days/evenings from 6:00AM – 2:30PM or 12:30PM – 9:00PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• Six months of experience in food service
• Experience working on a team
• Hospitality experience

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties to ensure proper distribution of prepared foods to patients, cafeteria guests and catered events.
• Accurately set up and deliver patient trays and nourishments.
• Distribute correct portions of food and beverage items.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of specific therapeutic diets.
• Follow department standards and procedures.
• Utilize and rotate food products, appropriately store leftovers and label and date food items.
