About The Position

This position assists in the kitchen area prior to, and after meals are served to patients. Assists with serving Cafeteria customers consisting of visitors and employees. Assist in maintaining kitchen work areas, and keeping equipment, utensils and food plates/containers clean and orderly. Assures personal compliance to all state and federal regulations including pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials and fire safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the kitchen area prior to and after meals are served to patients.
• Assist with serving Cafeteria customers consisting of visitors and employees.
• Maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment, utensils, and food plates/containers clean and orderly.
• Perform general cleaning, dish washing, sweeping, and mopping.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations including pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.
