About The Position

Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri has a Full Time Entry Level Cook positions open! No experience necessary will train the right person. Perimeter Behavioral of Missouri is a Joint Commission accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility specifically designed for adolescents age 13-18. Requirements

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to work the schedule as prescribed for the department
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Waynesville, MO 65583: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • License/Certification: high school diploma or equivalent (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Ensures meals are ready at a specified time.
  • Follows types and quantities of meats, vegetables and soups prepared by reviewing planned menus.
  • Ability to follow therapeutic diet menus, recipes and instruct cooks helpers on the same.
  • Test’s food being cooked to ensure doneness. Adjust heat controls, as necessary. Able to re-calibrate thermometers as needed.
  • Ensure kitchen and dining room area is clean and sanitized.
