About The Position

Wellstone Regional Hospital, a 100-bed acute care facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been providing quality healthcare since 2003, specializing in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, Adults, and the CD population, alongside outpatient programs. The hospital is seeking a full-time Food Service Worker/Cook for its Dietary department. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the cafeteria and dining room, assisting with meal preparation and delivery, and ensuring adequate supplies. Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food service sanitation
• Prior experience in food service required
• HS/GED required

Nice To Haves

• SERV SAF food handler certification or be able to sit for certification

Responsibilities

• Assisting with preparing the salad bar when needed
• Maintaining an adequate supply of beverages
• Ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies
• Operating the dish machine
• Assisting the cook as required
• Stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required
• Cooking
