About The Position
Apache Junction Health and Rehab is a leading skilled nursing facility located in Apache Junction, Arizona, recognized for its exceptional short-term rehabilitation services and compassionate care. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and food storage areas. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, as well as checking and recording the chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine at the beginning of your shift. You will also observe the water temperature during dishwashing cycles to ensure compliance with health standards. In addition to these tasks, you will assist in setting up breakfast trays, making juice for meal service, and serving meals to our residents. Your attention to detail will be essential as you prepare nourishments and snacks, empty trash, and sweep and mop the kitchen area to maintain a clean and safe environment. You will be expected to report any resident care concerns and potential issues to the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality of care. This position is vital to the overall operation of our facility, and your contributions will directly impact the well-being of our residents.
