About The Position

The Center is seeking a part-time Diet Technician to assist the Clinical Nutrition Director and dietitians in providing quality nutritional care to patients at the Center. Center for Change is a behavioral healthcare facility specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. Shift and Hour Details: Day Shift, flexible shift schedule Approximately 16 hours/week The Diet Tech is responsible to: Create daily patient menus individualized for each patient's calorie needs, allergies, or any other special instructions Make changes to meals and snacks on the menus for the applicable days, as directed by the Dietitian, using nutrient data to indicate serving sizes of the new foods in order to maintain the appropriate calorie levels of the menus. Accommodate special needs and be willing to make any other necessary changes per the Dietitian's instructions

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a college-level dietetic program
  • Strong basic computer skills especially Microsoft Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Diet Technician Certification (DTR) preferred
