Provides supervision and manages the DFM software for the Room Service Patient Meal System. Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team to assists the Registered Dietitians in carrying out the nutrition care plans. Directly supervises the patient meal room service and coordinates all activities related to the process. Effectively manages the functions of the DFM software, ensuring correct programming of therapeutic diets and allergies. Directly supervises the team of Nutrition Assistants. Performs room service quality checks through patient rounding, staff observation and systems testing. Documents results and changes process or takes corrective action as necessary. Responsible for training of staff, performs staff performance evaluations, and issues corrective actions if needed.

  • Issue corrective actions if needed.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Science or Associate's Degree in Diet Technology from an accredited program approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
