About The Position

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association, licensed Dietitian with the Ohio Board of Dietetics and maintenance of continuing education requirements for the registration and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments of individuals, including obtaining and evaluating individuals’ dietary histories, to plan nutritional programs.
• Collaborate with dietitian, cooks, and dining service staff to select and prepare appropriate menus
• Make recommendations to the dietary manager and administrator regarding documentation and clinical concerns.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding food preparation and food handling in the dietary department.
• Complete the nutritional section of the MDS assessment as required by law and by the facility.
